This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and driven marketing professional with the ability to make their ‘mark’ within a growing business. You may be a graduate with 2-3 years’ work experience seeking a stand-alone role or you may be seeking flexible part-time hours to suit family commitments. The successful candidate will work closely with the Directors of the business, to help deliver the vision for the future.
We are currently recruiting for both Day-Shift and Late-Shift Fabricator welders, responsible for the fabrication of structural steel work construction projects within the workshop team, ensuring that the business meets its production/delivery schedule on time. A key responsibility is to ensure our high-quality fabrication and welding requirements meet client specifications first time, every time.
As a fully qualified Mig Welder, the successful candidate will follow all safety precautions whilst working with various structural steel types, such as columns, beams & rafters, including haunches. You will work within one of the 15 fabrication bays, liaising closely with the Material Handler, Quality Assurance Inspectors and your Supervisor to ensure the smooth workflow of the factory operation.
We are currently recruiting a Material Handler to coordinate and facilitate the smooth work flow of the fabricators/welders workshop by ensuring they have the appropriate steels for each job/contract that they are working on.
The successful candidate will liaise with the supervisor and prep coordinator to ensure smooth running of the factory by organising the steel lots as they come off the saw/drill lines so that they are identifiable to the contract, move cut sections into the 15 Fabrication bays via crane and empty the steel when needed.
CNC Machine Operative
We are currently recruiting a CNC Machine Operative to be responsible for the efficient running of the CNC machines, which Robinson Structures currently operate; namely the FDB and the XDM, along with two different types of Steel sawing machines.
A key responsibility is to ensure the smooth workflow of the appropriate steels for each job/contract so that they are timely received by the Fabricators/welders in the workshop.
2x Internships – Implementation of a Safety Management Data System
We are looking for two internship candidates to support the business in a Management Project implementing a new management data system and to look at more efficient ways of tracking information.
The business has purchased an “off the shelf” data management system which needs setting up and populating with our safety records; such as risk assessments and asset management. In addition, we are setting up an Excel spreadsheet to produce a Skills Matrix and a Training Matrix. This will support the business in monitoring our legal requirements for employee skills training and refresher training.
