Robinsons will build a new fruit store for Hall Hunter Partnership

Hall Hunter Partnership (HHP) is a family business located in Berkshire, Surrey and West Sussex. HHP was started in 1966 and is now a leading UK grower of strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries.

HHP are now looking to expand their fruit store capability and have commissioned us to design and build a 9,343 square feet (approximately) high tech fruit store to house soft fruits (e.g. strawberries), with an additional 194 square feet plant room connected to the side.

A controlled atmosphere and temperature is an absolute must, to prevent spoilage and increase shelf life and quality. The external cladding will incorporate roof insulation and ventilating single skin sides to promote airflow into the roof space, which will aid cooling. Access to the store will be by sliding doors.

This is an exciting project due to finish in Autumn 2016 – we will keep you updated on our progress.
